Ken Coles Excavations Pty Ltd (incorporated in 1964) is a leading plant hire agency, servicing the Sydney Metropolitan Region, The Blue Mountains, Wollongong and the Central Coast.

Mr Ken Coles commenced as an earthmoving and drainage contractor in the early 1950s in Pennant Hills and Central West New South Wales. After many years as a contractor, manufacturer and machinery importer, the company continues today as a plant hire agency (since 1983). Ken’s experience in earthmoving and as a business man ensured the current status Ken Coles Excavations enjoys, as a highly respected agency in the Earthmoving Industry.

Ken Coles Excavations is still owned and operated as a family business, following Ken’s sad passing away in 2003. The company’s reputation of being ethically sound and of the highest integrity is now seeing us into our fifth decade.
 
The company has established a large clientele over the years in a range of industries including local council work, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, civil and domestic work.

Ken Coles Excavations has developed a large group of earthmoving contractors, with a diverse range of plant, enabling us to meet all of your earthmoving needs.

All our operators are inducted with Green Card (General OH&S Induction Training for Construction Work) and comply with the OHS Regulation 2001.The company is a Full Member of The Civil Contractors’ Federation.

We can provide all your earthmoving requirements in an efficient and professional manner from the small difficult access sites to the large building sites.

We offer a free, no obligation advisory service in the field, where advice is needed on the most efficient method of excavation or where access is limited.
